Inhale. Exhale. Arrive.
A very warm welcome to Johanna and Klaus Moosbrugger-Lettner
... and their good spirits
A lot of attention to detail goes into planning our businesses.
Klaus Moosbrugger-Lettner was head chef in 5* establishments for many years and has an eye for loving details in his DNA. His passion for speed and special vehicles is infectious, and he is happy to give tips to participants in the Arlberg Classic Rally in the summer.
Johanna Moosbrugger not only has her roots in Lech through her parents' hotel, the Hotel Gasthof Post, but also the aspiration to combine the highest level of comfort with honest craftsmanship. The products from her wood and ceramics workshop never cease to amaze guests at the Lech Lodge.
Always happy to help...
with the ‘good fairy team’ at Lech Lodge
The good spirits behind the Moosbruggers
offer you, our guests, more than just classic concierge service...
The ‘good fairies’ at Lech Lodge have been with us for many years and know Lech as well as they know the special wishes of our guests. They are ready and eager to make your stay magical. Together with our three children, we, Johanna and Klaus Moosbrugger-Lettner, are carrying on the Moosbrugger family's tradition of hospitality, which has been shaping the Arlberg since 1931, into the next generation.
The Moosbruggers
as host family
A brief summary of the story...
Anna Skardarasy, born in St. Wolfgang in 1885, and Balthasar Skardarasy laid the foundation for the family's hospitality business in Arlberg in 1931 with the purchase of the Hotel Flexen in Zürs. Their three children built the hotels Lorünser in Zürs, Zürserhof and Hotel Gasthof Post in Lech. During the time when Ernst Skardarasy was president of the Austrian Hotel Association and everyone called him ‘Uncle Ernst’, Anna Skardarasy was not only our “Grandma” but also the ‘Grandma’ of the whole of Austria.
Her daughter Irma Moosbrugger and her husband Erich bought the Hotel Gasthof Post in Lech in 1937, where Johanna grew up as the third generation of the family.
After years of planning, the Lech Lodge was completed in 2012 in just seven months, with every last detail taken care of. A lifelong dream has come true for us, and we are still grateful every day to be able to be here. We are also grateful to everyone who supported us in making this happen. It was important to us that the hotel would be a ‘home away from home’ not only for us, but also for our guests and the ‘good spirits’ who work here in the truest sense of the word.
Of course, feeling good is something that has to be worked on every day – and we are happy to do so!
We look forward to your visit and to sharing our paradise with you!
With all our hearts,
Klaus and Johanna Moosbrugger-Lettner
