22 Toque-Awards

22 toque-awarded restaurants in Lech-Zürs are 22 very good reasons to come here

WOW! When the palate is on vacation here, it quickly succumbs to the temptations of the many toques. Lech-Zürs was named a world gourmet resort by Falstaff magazine. So alpine. So beautiful. So full of flavor. And impressive in international comparison with the highest density of award-winning restaurants. So the search for the secret of our success is multifaceted. What does the mountain air do to our palate? What about the exciting adventures?  What about the ingredients used? Because the motto “vo:dô ‘* (Vorarlberg for ’from here”) has been the guiding principle in Lech-Zürs since 2008. Of course, the density of top international chefs here is also unique. In addition to their culinary skills, they are driven by their curiosity to discover the alpine magic of high-quality, local produce. But be careful: once the palate has fallen in love with the many temptations, it will keep longing for Lech-Zür and its toques on the Arlberg.

Finest Family Wine

Gobelsburg Castle

The Moosbrugger family can also produce legendary wines

Johanna Moosbrugger's brother once moved away to devote himself unconditionally to his passion for wine. Michael found his new home in Kamptal. No, not just anywhere, but in the historic wine heritage site of Gobelsburg Castle.

Over 850 years of the Cistercian monks are a commitment - especially when it comes to quality. But not only that.

Michael Moosbrugger: “A winery like Gobelsburg is no longer a ‘normal’ winery like other classic family businesses. In such a “wine cultural heritage”, the dimensions of history, tradition and wine culture must always be taken into account. All decisions for the business are based on these aspects. The focus is not on my own well-being, but on the obligation to lead the house and the winery into the next generation in the best possible way.”

As these wines are extremely sought-after and the winery's requirements remain very exclusive, it is advisable to inform the “Good Fairy” of the wines of origin from the Danube region at the time of booking.
