For example, the Formarinsee lake at the foot of the Rote Wand, breathtakingly emerald green. The “Stone Sea” near Lech unites numerous witnesses of the former primeval sea - a wonderful collection of fossils is definitely worth discovering here. The “Mythos Lech” has its source on the Formarinalpe and meanders in shades of blue all the way to Füssen in the Allgäu. It also crosses one of the last wild river landscapes in Austria.
